In order to make Mindful In the Storm the full art site that it is, we unfortunately need to utilize functionality that only became available in the last few years. Most computers configured since 1998 should perform fine. Our intention is not to be exclusive, but to offer novel and refined design and user interface methodologies. Please let us know any feelings you have on this.

List of browsers:

• Internet Explorer 4.0 and newer. (I.E. 5.5 is best)
  
• Mozilla 1.0 (this is the open source netscape non-corporate browser!)
• Netscape 6.0 and up (6.2 is really the first reliable 6.x release)
  
• (I'm definitely trying to add more. Netscape 4.x is a pain and Opera just won't play nice. - Though I have yet to have someone view with Opera.)

Monitor Height Width Settings:

• We recommend at least a 1024 width by 768 height viewing area
  
• 800x600 will work

Monitor Color Settings:

• We recommend at least 'thousands' (16bit)

Internet Connection:

• The faster the better but even 28.8 modems will provide full experience.

Sometimes Needed Extra browser additions:

• Java Virtual Machine to run applets

• Software to play .mp3 music files
